This presentation will provide foundational knowledge about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment and Training (E&T) for case managers to be successful in their roles. For the second year in a row, SNAP E&T has been a mandatory program centered around Able-Bodied Adults without Dependents (ABAWD). While many components of the program have remained the same, there have been several enhancements to system functionality and policy and process changes. This presentation will cover the tenets of the mandatory SNAP E&T program. The material will cover program activities, qualifying components and the sanction process.
