CareerSource North Central Florida developed and implemented a successful Reverse Job Fair concept. Led by Business Services, the Reverse Job Fair puts job seekers in control of their experience --marketing themselves like a business. The concept reduces the burden on the employer and generates better outcomes for all involved. This event differed from standard job fairs in that the job seekers would be setting up at tables with their own materials designed to market and “pitch” themselves to employers and staffing agencies. This presentation will explain the overall approach and processes used to recruit job seekers. The presentation will also describe how jobseekers market themselves to employers, and the value of this approach to employers.
